Dr. Jacob Adserballe has a business administration degree and has had extensive veterinary business management and leadership experience before completing his DVM degree at WCVM in 2002. With over 30 years of business and veterinary experience, he has built, launched and grown multiple successful veterinary practices and other businesses. He has been an active member in the veterinary community and has served on ABVMA Companion Animal Advisory, Registration Committee and Investigations.
Jacob is driven and passionate about providing business support that gives his fellow veterinarians the ability to offer the best services possible, through high performance veterinary teams.
Jacob is married with two sons and two dogs, whom he loves spending time with, especially outdoors.
Anu Gangopadhyay is an Industrial and Production Engineer with a master's in Business Administration. He has worked on developing new business initiatives and transformational organizational projects for multiple provincial bodies and private organizations. His experience revolves around developing internal processes and expanding the market presence for products and services. He is a growth-focused business strategist with the aim of developing sustainable organizations.
Rob has a Bachelor of Arts Major in Planning and over a decade of planning and project management experience. His experience ranges from hands-on construction to planning for municipal and provincial governments. He has acquired a vast breadth of knowledge that allows him to confidently navigate projects from preliminary ideas through all stages of development to occupancy and operation.
Whether it is with his work or his hobbies, Rob is very detail-oriented and focused on ensuring all aspects of a project are fine-tuned and cohesive with one another. Outside of work, he can often be found exploring natural and built environments.
Laurette has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting with Honours in Financial Management. She has been employed as a Full Cycle Bookkeeper her entire working life. With experience in both the public and private sectors, she flourishes in all realms due to her orientation to detail and exceptional analytical skills.
Laurette is a big wildlife lover, who spent countless hours on her father's 12,000 hectare wild animal farm in South Africa before she immigrated to Canada in 2013. She is grateful to be in Canada, where she prioritizes her family and her Schnauzer, Sandy, who immigrated along with them.
Dr. Wolfgang Wendrich studied Law in Zuerich, Switzerland and served for almost 25 years as a Senior Official (Jurist) in the Swiss Federal Administration. He is Swiss-Canadian dual citizen and multilingual. His legal experience covers in particular International Private Law, Contract Law and Administrative Law. His practice centred on legislative work, the application of Administrative Law, the preparation and execution of International Cooperation Agreements, and finally the internal planning and organization, including human resources, of a major Federal Office.
After moving to Canada, Wolfgang built and operated a Resort in southern Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, thus complementing his legal experience with almost 20 years of hands-on business experience including financing, construction, operation, maintenance, and networking within the tourism industry.
Wolfgang’s combined experience and passion for law and business help ensure all legal - and in particular contractual - matters are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner, guided by care and balance, respect and trust. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading, traveling and simply being outside in the beautiful nature we are so lucky to be surrounded with.
